The Bellwether Ballroom seats over 400 guests banquet style and offers spectacular views of Bellingham Bay and the San Juan Islands. Equipped with a portable dance floor, the 6,030 square-foot ballroom is an elegant venue for wedding receptions. It is complemented by a 795-square-foot water view terrace.

The Compass Room evokes the elegant charm of a European lounge; it even has its own fireplace. Cozy and comfortable enough for a social event — yet sophisticated enough for corporate purposes — this room is perfect for groups looking for something different. Ideal for receptions, this 28-by-28-foot room offers 772 square feet, and can seat up to 30 guests banquet style, or accommodate up to 40 guests reception style.
This 854-square-foot room can accommodate up to 60 guests banquet style and 80 reception style. A popular location for corporate meetings and retreats as well as dinners and luncheons, the 31-by-27-foot Admiral Room can be set up conference, u-shaped, classroom, theatre or banquet style. (Larger groups often rent the Admiral Room with the adjoining Garden Room.)
The Hotel Bellwether offers full catering services, including a hosted bar and cash bar. Our catering options include a buffet, plated dinners, dessert displays, and even an ice cream bar.
